Nanaimo Tree Voucher program

1. We are proud to be partnering with the city of Nanaimo in a program to get more canopy and fruit trees into our beautiful city. To clarify a few things from our end as the supplier of plants, below is the list of requirements for the tree to qualify for the voucher. Also please note that we will be allowing people to purchase larger more expensive trees and these vouchers can be used towards the total purchase price. The idea behind it all is to create large canopies in the Nanaimo area.

For example: You want to purchase a larger more mature tree that has a price of $169.95 + tax = $190.35 .  With using this voucher you will now only have to pay 100.35 for the tree.  However  for any tree with a price lower than $80 before tax you will not have to pay anything on top of the voucher.

Also note that while some of these trees will be available in certain sizes for under $90.00 with taxes included, many will not be available in a size that matches that price point.  Customers are permitted to purchase plants in excess of the voucher value however they will be required to pay the remaining cost at the time of purchase.

Almost all of the fruit trees and additional options are in the $90 or less price range.

Tree Voucher Requirements:

• Trees must create a canopy
• Tree MUST have a minimum height of 4.5 meters (14.6 feet) when fully mature
• The tree must have a mature trunk diameter of 6cm (2.5 inches) at chest height
• Only 1 Tree Voucher per tree purchased
• All Tree Voucher sales are final

Vouchers are not eligible for:

• Palm trees
• Shrubs
• Dwarf trees
• Annuals / Perennials
• Hedging plants
• Weeping tree varieties
• Slow growing conifers
• Standardized & Espaliered trees
• Indoor Tropical & Citrus plants
• Tools & Pottery
• Soils & Fertilizers
• Deliveries
